Scholarship Program
Scholarship candidates must be the son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter of a member in good standing of the Central California Sierra Chapter of SWANA. The forms will only require a high school transcript and a list of extra curricular activities and sports, or awards for any of these activities. Based on previous years, only three to five applications are received, as there are only a few students within the Chapter family who qualify in any given year. Therefore, the chance of any applicant winning the scholarship is very good.
We have made changes to the local Sierra Chapter’s R.H. Townley Scholarship application process to integrate it with the SWANA Category I, Grant H. Flint International Scholarship Awards Program. The Category I, Grant H. Flint International Scholarship application form will be used for both scholarships and can be found at here.
