51st Annual Western Regional Symposium April 4-7, 2022
"Reconnecting, Adapting, Overcoming"
Sierra Chapter once again hosted the WRS at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite. The Symposium was complete with a Monday tour of the Yosemite Valley to discuss programs at Yosemite National Park as presented by staff at the Yosemite Conservatory and Mariposa County Public Works. The exhibit hall was sold out and Technical Sessions were held Tuesday through Thursday with the Keynote Address from SWANA Executive Director & CEO, David Biderman, over breakfast on Tuesday morning. The fun was had on Wednesday evening with dinner followed by a party in the Pavillion. View Technical Sessions - Topics and Presenters | View ALL WRS Conference Documents

The Sierra Chapter WRS Committee reviewed nearly 50 abstracts to select dynamic and timely topics. The program was packed with valuable information for professionals working in all areas of Solid Waste.
If you weren't so fortunate as to be able to attend this year's event, you might want to take a look at speaker presentations, which can be viewed in WRS Conference Documents.
*Please note, there were several last minute changes so the presentations may not all align precisely with the program time and date but files are saved with track number, general topic, key words from the title, and the speaker's last name to help you locate what you're looking for!
